What are Mobile Apps?
According to me mobile apps are tools that provide you a service which you can avail through your mobile phones.
Examples:
- Social media apps like Facebook, Instagram, Twitter let you connect with your friends and the world through your mobile phones.
- Study Apps help you with your study by providing you with required.
- Google maps provides you directions for your destination.
- Food apps let you order food while you sit in your home.
- Booking apps let you book events like a concert or a flight.
Why Mobile apps are developed?
Like I said earlier, they provide you a service on your mobile phone. I think they are developed to overcome the need for availing a service through computers which although is still in practice. But mobile apps have eased the process of availing a service. They are also developed with the idea that the customer (us) can avail a service any time and at any place we want. That is not possible with a computer or a laptop. Now you can use facebook with the mobile phone in your pocket. Instead of accessing it from the desktop pc or laptop.
How to use Mobile Apps?
To use a mobile app, the first thing you need is to download it and install it. After that depending on your app it may or may not require internet.
Where are mobile apps available?
Mobile apps can be found on an online app store. For example Playstore and Apple store depending on whether it's an android mobile app or an apple mobile app.
Are Mobile Apps free to Use?
Yes and No. There are lot of apps that are free to use. There are some paid apps that you need to purchase or subscribe to for use. In addition there are free plus premium ones also called freemium apps. They have some features premium to use and some free.
Who makes mobile apps?
Mobile apps are made by app developers. Well, there is no restriction. Even if you don't have a certification for being a developer you can still make an app. I myself have learned it online. I share my experience related to making apps online through this blog. I hope you benefit from it.
